Four-Week Intensive Workshop

This program is designed for writers who want focused, customized support on one project: whether it’s a feature film, short, or TV pilot. Over four weeks, you’ll receive private coaching, personalized feedback, and accountability to push your story to the next level.

What You Can Accomplish in 4 Weeks

Every writer works at a different pace, but most are able to complete one, two, or three of these milestones:

• Breaking Story: Take an idea from spark to a tight working synopsis with a locked logline and core elements well defined.

• First Draft: Move from synopsis to a completed rough draft, including beat sheet, outline, treatment, and first script draft.

• Targeted Rewrites: Guided element-based revisions using the Story Stacking Method™ from Muse in the Machine.

• Marketing Package Development: Create pitch decks, one-sheets, teaser art, sizzle reels, trailers, market comparisons, budgets, and more to support your script’s selling strategy.

• TV & Episodic Projects: Develop full season arcs, story bibles, and detailed episodic outlines.

How It Works

Our 4-week private coaching program is designed for writers who are serious about getting it done. Spots are extremely limited, and to ensure the best results, all participants must schedule an introductory call before being accepted. You’ll work one-on-one with a professional screenwriter and filmmaker, receiving personalized guidance, accountability, and support to bring your project across the finish line.

Who Qualifies

To be considered, you should have:

• A basic knowledge of the screenwriting craft

• Time set aside to focus on your project

• Willingness to schedule a call to confirm we’re a good fit

If all parties agree, and an opening is available, we’ll create a schedule that works for you. The 4 coaching weeks can be taken consecutively or spread out, as long as each is used in a 7-day allotment.

What You Can Expect

• Introductory Meeting (Free of Charge): Meet your coach, clarify your goals, and see if this program is right for you. This session does not count toward your 4 weeks.

• Personalized Program Plan: Together, you’ll map out your path; reviewing your status, setting milestones, and organizing coaching sessions to maximize results.

• Flexibility: Use your 4 weeks in sequence or space them out as needed. Weeks can be rescheduled, and unused weeks may be postponed for up to one year.

• Optional Resource: While The Muse in the Machine offers deeper context and exercises that pair perfectly with the program, it is not required reading. You are welcome to one free copy of the paperback, digital, or audio version of the book; included in every program.

Important Notes

• You retain all rights to your material, or course. Your work will never be shared, sold, or used in any other way, including to train AI agents.

• This is a guided coaching process; we don’t write your script for you. (If you’re seeking done-for-you services, please see our Professional Services page.)

• Program fees are fully refundable until your first official coaching session begins. After which you can postpone unused weeks for up to one year, but no partial refunds are permitted. Weeks cannot be broken up and must be used in four 1-week blocks.

While our structured programs are designed to meet most writers’ needs, we understand that sometimes you need something more flexible, immediate, or highly customized. That’s where our Private Coaching Calls come in.

These one-on-one sessions give you direct access to an experienced professional screenwriter and filmmaker who will focus entirely on your project. Whether you’re wrestling with structure, struggling to sharpen dialogue, trying to align your script with genre expectations, or simply needing clarity on next steps, private coaching offers tailored solutions right when you need them.

Coaching begins at $200 for a 2-hour session, with package options available for writers who prefer ongoing support. Each call is designed to give you both actionable feedback and a clear plan of attack, so you leave every session knowing exactly how to move your project forward.
